Manaba are recruiting experienced and dedicated 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistants for a wonderful, Oftsed rated 'Good with outstanding' primary school in Haslemere who have two openings in September 2026 for the Autumn Term (supply from September to December).
The roles are full-time, Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm (term time only).
About the roles of 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistants
We would love to hear from candidates who have experience of supporting children with additional needs with a calming approach to supporting both their emotional and educational needs.
Role 1: supporting a pupil in Early Years who is pre-verbal, very active and needs support with all tasks, including toileting.
Role 2: supporting a pupil in Year 2 who has EAL with limited receptive language skills, and again needs support and focus with most activities.
The successful candidates will be empathetic, patient and calm and be able to adapt their teaching style and approach to suit the needs of the child.

Requirements
Requirements:
Ideally you will hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ Level 2 or above)
Enhanced Level DBS required
At least 6 months experience in working with children, ideally in a school or similar setting
A minimum of x2 Employment References
